The module Substances is the base module. Here, the details and characteristics of a substance are recorded in 16 chapters, in accordance with EU regulations. On the basis of this you can easily prepare simple Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), also referred to as SDS (Safety Data Sheets), and Internal Plant Instructions. Also, labels can be produced with this module. As a result of the integration with Microsoft Word, these sheets and labels can be presented in any desired format and layout.

For carcinogenic and repro-toxic substances, the supplementary registration at employee level can be effected with this module.

With the aid of the module Substances, you can answer questions such as:

• What substances are in use in the organisation?
• What are the characteristics and risks of these substances?
• Who makes use of what dangerous substances in the organisation?
• For how long and in which way do these employees and departments make use of these dangerous substances?
