The module Preparations is meant for organisations that make their own mixtures; the ‘manual’ calculation of the appropriate R and S phrases for preparations undeniably costs a great deal of time. This module can be used to determine label information for solid, liquid and gaseous mixtures, as well as for aerosol sprays.

The module Preparations is integrated in the module Materials and makes use of the MSDS information that has been stored there. As a result, little has to be done to perform a calculation. Simply select the materials being used in the mixture and indicate the percentage weight or volume in which they are present.
Due to the built-in control function based on the list of substances in Annex 1 of Directive 67/568/EG, the calculation is always correctly performed.
The module Preparations can be used to:

• Quickly determine the R and S phrases for a preparation;
• Ascertain the characteristics and risks that these mixtures possess;
• Always perform correct calculations in accordance with the Preparations Directive 1999/45/EG;
• Make a preparation of preparations.
